London Amazing Pace Volunteer Opportunities needed for One Day
Opportunity Description: The London, Ontario Lung Association office requires volunteers for our Annual Amazing Pace fundraising event. The event will be held on October 29th, 2011 and will require volunteers to help us out all day. Potential duties: -Helping with morning registration of teams -Checkpoint volunteers (manning a checkpoint for the duration of the event; verifying the completion of the checkpoint challenge by the participating teams) -Helping with the set-up and take-down of checkpoints & registration If you would like to volunteer for The Amazing Pace on October 29th, we would love to hear from you! London Festival of Trees Volunteer Opportunities needed for Less than 1 month
Opportunity Description: The London, Ontario Lung Association office requires multiple volunteers for our 1st Annual Festival of Trees. This event will be held over two days: Sat, Nov. 12- Sun, Nov.13th, 2011. Volunteers would be expected to help out during one of the two days (or both days if willing). Volunteer duties could include: -Assisting with set-up or take-down of Festival decorations & trees -Selling tickets at the door & admitting ticket buyers -Helping with general errands during the day -Helping to organize & run one of our many events within the Festival If you would like to help us get into the holiday spirit by volunteering for The Festival of Trees, we would love to hear from you!
